TSA

All Oxford PPE candidates must sit both sections of the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA). Section 1 is the ninety-minute, multiple-choice portion of the test, and Section 2 is a thirty-minute essay task. Past papers from 2008 onwards are available online, and so the best way to prepare for the TSA is to work through each past paper, and then go through them with an experienced tutor. We offer TSA tuition in ninety-minute sessions as this tends to allow the time to go through a completed Section 1 paper, as well as a Section 2 essay, in a single session.
