TSA

All Oxford PPE candidates must sit both sections of the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA). Section 1 is the 90-minute, multiple-choice portion of the test, and Section 2 is a 30-minute essay task. Past papers from 2008 onwards are available online, and so the best way to prepare for the TSA is to work through every past paper, and go through them with an experienced tutor. We offer TSA tuition in 90-minute sessions as this tends to allow the time to go through a completed Section 1 paper, as well as a Section 2 essay, in a single session.
